Since 1989 there have been numerous reports on the efficiency of the ECO-Kat. The most extensive study was done by the China Railroad Corporation. The railroad uses 2.16 million tons of fuel annually, accounting for 40% of the country’s total diesel consumption. The study proved that the ECO-Kat provided a minimum 6% savings in diesel oil consumption, lowered exhaust gas emissions clearing up the visible grey color, and increased the efficiency of the turbo charger.

"I have owned the eco-kat for about a year and would like to give you an update.
I bought my eco-kat in the fall of 2016. I clamped it to the propane line leading into my building. I have a commercial range and the first thing I noticed was that there was less soot on my pots and pans. Also, my carbon monoxide meter was registering 19 parts per million compared to 39 ppm. from the previous year. In the spring, I installed it on my 1988 Dodge Ram pickup truck. It has the 318 cubic inch motor or 5.2 liters. I was having some starting problems when the engine was hot, and the eco-cat almost eliminated this problem. I have noticed an increase in power and the engine runs very smooth and quiet. As for gas mileage, I was getting 17 miles per gallon. I now get 19.3 mpg. This is 9% better. The eco-cat is easy to install as it just clamps on to the gas line. I have no doubt that it will pay for itself in a couple of years. The thing I really like is that it purifies the fuel and helps machines to run better and cleaner."
