Steak Satay
1½ lbs Harvest Haven Beef Tenderloin
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar
1/4 – 1/2 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp dried onion
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ginger
2 cloves Harvest Haven garlic, crushed
1/4 cup soy sauce
Skewers for kabobs
Cut beef into 2” cubes and place in a shallow dish for marinating.
Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Cool.
Pour sauce over meat, cover and marinate a few hours or overnight in refrigerator. Turn meat occasionally.
Remove meat from marinade and place 5 or 6 pieces on each skewer. Reserve marinade.
Barbecue about 8 - 12 minutes to desired doneness, turning frequently. Brush with reserved marinade while cooking.
